A/N – Originally part of a challenge on TFF, I thought the following few prompts came out fairly well for as a spur of the moment kind of thing.

Truths

By: Pridefall

Zabuza

1. To date, Zabuza is the only one of Kisame's pupils to ever beat the Shark-nin at unarmed combat. That this could've netted him the Samehada had Kisame kept his word is possibly, why Zabuza gained the Head-cutter sword, instead.

2. Though Haku is possibly the best of all of his students, Zabuza did have a Genin team at one point in time.

3. His team is the only team in all of Mist history to pass their Chuunin and Jounin exams without losing a single member.

The Kyuubi

1. The Kyuubi is neither male or female, and has no real preference between the forms or mating partners she takes; making it effectively A- and Pansexual.

2. Despite being a creature of fire, the Kyuubi has killed more men and women through the cunning use of subtlety than any of its kin have though their demonic shows of force.

3. Of all of the Nine, the Kyuubi is the only demon in their ranks that submitted to human containment willingly, and was sealed in a shrine located at the top of the world.

4. Unlike the rest of the Nine, it let itself be captured with the expressed desire of learning more about the human race.

5. As time passed, the seals and spells keeping it in place wore out, and when the Kyuubi escaped its frozen tomb, the world as it knew it had changed.

6. Of all the people's and cultures of the world, the Kyuubi has found that the Shinobi who have recaptured it are the most delightful of contrivances. Their petty machinations, their strange fashions and soulless whoring felt almost...comforting; as if it had never left the bowels of Hell and was still amongst its own kind.

7. The Kyuubi loves to take the guises of its enemies. To date, it has been the mentor of a legendary samurai by the name of Nobunaga, a midwife to the first generation of the Koga ninja clan, a hermit named Musashi, and a blind prophet-woman whom cast out her bastard sons and died in obscurity.

8. Its favorite role, however, is of Destroyer, and it is as such that it meets its demise.

Zetsu

1. Zetsu has never devoured a female victim in the nude or in the light of day. He believes, rather fervently, that no matter the cause of death every corpse deserved a modicum of respect.

2. Of all the Akatsuki, the only member Zetsu ever considered beautiful was Saosori. When the puppet-master showed Zetsu his true form, however, the Watcher never against spoke to the Puppeteer.

3. If he had his way, Zetsu would kill Orochimaru and Deidara for defiling the natural order of the earth and would bury Tobi back in it for breaking the circle of life.

4. Aside from a few discrete missions here and there, Zetsu is the only Akatsuki member that has never been paired with another partner. Most believe this to be because Zetsu is, in fact, two people sharing one body; but the Leader knows the truth, and aside from the few nights one or two of the Akatsuki wake up screaming Zetsu's secret is kept very, very safe.

Hidan

1. Hidan laughs at Kazuku's many hair-brained attempts to bed females and thinks that if the Sower would just learn to believe in something other than himself he would have far, far, more luck with other people.

2. Hidan has never wanted or needed a woman's touch. When he stabs himself, when he absolves himself of sin and releases all of the evil pent-up inside of him, it is tantamount to sex, and the blood leaking out of him is like an orgasm that doesn't end until he wants it to.

3. Hidan loathes everyone but Kazuku, for both the Sower and the Immortal Priest are the only two beings on the planet that will never feel Jashin's all-encompassing glory.

4. Of all the things in the world, Hidan fears his immortality the most. Where Orochimaru strives for it, Kazuku abuses it and all of the Jinchuuriki willingly submit to their unlimited life-spans, Hidan wants to die more than he wants to spend the rest of his life living with every other quasi-immortal psychopath in on the continent.

Itachi

1. One of the only time's Itachi has ever been afraid of death was when he woke up one morning and found that, on top of not being able to move his arms, he had blood dribbling down and out of his nose.

2. Kisame has told Itachi "No" five times in his life.

3. The first is to the question "Do you think I made the right choice?"

4. The second is to the statement, "We're getting out of here, right?"

5. The third, and subsequent fourth and fifth, are to the Uchiha begging the Shark-nin to stop the pain in his skull by killing him.

6. Itachi, in all actuality, is not an ego-centric bastard with illusions of grandeur and only spared Sasuke the death he wanted to give him because in his hurry to test out the Mangekyou he used Tskyiomi instead of Amaterasu.

Kisame

1) One thing that has always bothered Itachi about Kisame -- and Kisame knows this from experience -- is that Kisame doesn't break like normal humans because of his bloodline.

2) Samehada is a sentient sword, and every time Kisame takes it into his hand it whispers things he does not want to hear into his mind. He mummifies it to keep it quiet, and though it can only maim when uncovered, he's quite fine with crushing his enemies anyway.

3) Kisame is the only male in his entire family to manifest his bloodline at such a late stage.

4) This is the only thing that saved him from the Bloodline Massacres of the Mist.

5) Every Daimyo he ever killed when he went Rogue was a part of the Council that signed the Bloodline Edict, and every noble house he destroyed supplied soldiers to the Mist.

6) To this day, no one but Itachi has put together the pieces of this mystery, and Kisame subsequently blinded the Uchiha for looking into his mind.

The Yondaime

1. His name is Arashi. End of story.

2. He never knew who his father was, and at a very young age promised to himself that his own children would never have to suffer his same fate.

3. Though he was a shining star all through his Jounin through ANBU years, Arashi dropped out of the Genin academy four times, failed the Chuunin exam twice, and barely scrapped by training his own Genin team through half a war.

4. When he became Hokage, Arashi had to undergo the Trial of Kings. He has never told anyone what happened once when he stepped into the Labyrinth underneath the Hokage's Monument, but when he returned a week later he wouldn't look at any of the Uchiha, wouldn't speak to his cousin Yuugao, and absolutely refused to look Orochimaru in the face.

5. Rather than being genius-caliber work on his part, the Flying Thunder God technique was discovered rather than created the one time Orochimaru caught Arashi in his younger sister's room at night.

6. The Rasengan, however, took eight years to perfect and master.

7. The idea for the technique came, strangely, from watching other shinobi perfect their own techniques. The first step, naturally, was garnered from watching his own student complete his Chidori. The second step came from a strange man wearing a green jumpsuit who Arashi watched turn boulders into gravel with his bare hands, and the third and final step, Arashi took, rather than built off of.

8. The Hyuuga have never let an Uzumaki on their grounds ever since.

9. When he found out his wife was pregnant with his child and she wanted him to name him or her, Arashi settled on two names, and two names only.

10. They were Sasuke, after the man he had looked up to all of his life, and Sakura, for the flowers his mother loved.

11. And yet, when it came time for him to chose a name, he the only thing he could think of staring into the eyes of his death was Naruto, after his wife's favorite part of a ramen bowl.
