Epilogue 2
Three years later.
River Country.

"She wasn't all that
tough..." Kakuzu looked at the glaring jinchuuriki, her hands nailed to
the wall.
"True." Hidan
sighed forlornly. "I didn't manage to reach total annihilation today. What
a shame."
"...you and your
freaky religion." Kakuzu scoffed. "When will you learn that if you
destroy everything completely it means no profit?"
"...blasphemous
heathen...!" Hidan growled. "Jyashin's way is-"
The wall of the cave
crumbled slightly, before blowing inwards.
"...what in Jyashin's
name?!" Hidan coughed from the dust, staring at the scene of, well...
total annihilation.
"I dunno who was the
stupid fuck to do this but-"
There was a low, steady
hum, like the sound of wind moving and twisting rapidly as the blue ball
bloomed in the middle of the dust cloud.
When it dissipated,
Kakuzu's eyes widened.
The man was a dead ringer
for Yondaime Hokage, down to the very details sans the hair color. The fact
that he held the Rasengan in his palm only made it even more surreal.
But the man was obviously
younger than Yondaime was even when he died, had snow-white hair and lacked a
hitai-ate of any kind.
"How the hell did a
punk like you managed to get a hold of the Rasengan?" Kakuzu asked
curiously, while Hidan grabbed his scythe.
The jutsu was supposed to
be uncopyable - he knew it well. Rock was willing to pay an absurd sum of money
for anybody who'd provide them that jutsu, as well as the scroll for Hiraishin.
"So you know what it
is?" Naruto cocked an eyebrow. "Cool."
Kakuzu's eyes widened as
the dreadfully familiar blond haired woman walked in, her mouth set in a scowl
as she cracked her knuckles.
"...Tsunade..."
Kakuzu swallowed.
The no-name brat was no
problem, even if his Rasengan raised an eyebrow.
Tsunade-hime who had, as of
late, been rumored to roam battlefields once again even more terrifyingly
strong than ever was another matter entirely.
Especially after she
happened to squash the Akasuna no Sasori two months ago.
Sasori learned in a very
panful and quite final way that making puppets out of a woman that can crush
castle walls with her bare hands was a big mistake. From what Kakuzu heard,
they had to scrape Sasori from the landscape all over to find his ring.
He heard a nasty chuckle
and blinked, only to notice that the one laughing was their captured
jinchuuriki.
"What took you so
long?" Yugito frowned at the young man.
"Hey there, killer
kitty. I love you too." The bleach-haired brat smiled at the woman. "I'll
be getting you out in a sec."
Yugito smirked, despite the
pain.
"As long as you smear
them across the whole cave, I can wait a bit." Her grin turned decidedly
bloodthirsty. "So you don't need to rush on my account."
The bleach-haired young man
sighed, turning to Kakuzu and shrugging.
"Women." He said
philosophically. "Anyway." His eyes narrowed and the air was suddenly
thick with almost unreal amount of killer intent. "My name is Uzumaki
Naruto. You have kidnaped my fiancee. Prepare to die. Slowly. Painfully.
Preferably in many very little pieces."
The Rasengan's hum
intensified as Tsunade cracked her knuckles with a grim smile.
Yugito smirked as Nekomata
purred with contentment at the killer intent filling the air.
She hated the whole 'damsel
in distress' thing but seeing the two Akatsuki fucks being ripped into itty
bitty little pieces and pulverized by punches that could split small mountains
would offset that particular discomfort quite nicely.
Besides, Naruto was just so
romantic when he promised to rip people apart for her.
