Chapter 25

Naruto stood across from Zaku. He watched as the sound ninja pulled his arms out of the crutches and observed them. He gave Naruto a sinister grin.

“I’m glad that I went last. My arms are fully healed. Now you have no chance of winning.” Zaku boasted

“Does that mean that my teammates fought the two weakest of your group?” Naruto asked

“Yeah, I’m the strongest of my group. I’ll be going on to finish off the Uchiha.”

“Yet, you have to get pass me. Don’t get me wrong, I could give a shit about the teme but I have someone who is overdue for an ass whooping. So, shall we start or do you want to meet that Chuunin again?” Naruto asked with a smirk. Ibiki grumbled as Naruto reminded him of how easy he got fooled. Kankuro, Kiba and Zaku all growled at the boy and the females glared at him. Hayate cough and raised his hand. He dropped it to signal the start of the match and Zaku wasted no time. He shot his arms forward.

“Zankuuha!! (Decapitating Air Waves).” He shouted. Naruto stood still as the air pressure hit him dead on. Zaku laughed at the scene. His laughter suddenly turned to pain as he knees gave out. Suddenly he felt his arms raised and restrained by some snakes. Naruto walked in front of him.

“I may not be as fast as my comrade but I’m pretty quick. Besides I’ve seen that move too many times to know what to do. Now, will you just give up so we can get on with this?” he asked. Zaku growled and tried to free himself with his Zankuuha but the snakes crushed the tubes in his arm. Naruto sighed and pulled out a kunai.

“Guess we do this the hard way.” Naruto sighed. He looked at the sound ninja and smiled.

“All right, all right, I give up. I GIVE UP!!” Zaku cried loudly. Naruto let out a breath of relief.

“About time, though I’ll give it to you points for lasting so long. Truth is I thought that you would give up after two hundred cuts. Guess I’m not that lucky.” Naruto said. Everyone looked at the crazy blond in shock. Anko clapped and cheered for more blood. The Hokage sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose.

“I really need to find out if those two are related.” Sarutobi muttered

“I kind of liked it. A little bit more training and he can be a great interrogator.” Ibiki said impressed.

“Wow, that’s one scary kid you have there Kakashi.” Asuma commented. Chouji was looking after Ino as she was gagging in a corner. Kakashi sighed while Sasuke showed a bit of fear of the blonde. Neji glared at him while Tenten looked sick. Shikamaru shook his head. Temari and Kankuro looked between Naruto and Gaara wondering who was more dangerous. Gaara was flinching because the sight of blood which scared Baki. Kurenai looked at her friend and was attempting to calm her down. Kiba and Shino looked at each other and gave the other a silent nod. No way was this psycho getting near Hinata. Hayate stepped in.

“Winner, Uzumaki Naruto!” he said. Naruto beamed. He was suddenly hugged from behind by Anko.

“Great job otouto.” She cheered

“Thanks oneesan.” He said with a smile. Ibiki, Kurenai and Sarutobi looked at the scene and smiled. They were both glad that the two were a bit more open. They were glad that they were happy.

Naruto walked through the hall of the fourth floor. The lady at the desk had told him that Hinata was on this floor while Sakura was one floor below. He decided to see Hinata first seeing that Sakura probably was still out cold from chakra exhaustion. He reached the room and knocked on the door.

“Hey, Hinata can I come in?” he asked.

“Y-Yes, you may enter.” She called out. Naruto opened the door and looked in. Hinata was in hospital clothes and lying on the bed. She looked at Naruto and saw that he had some blood on him. She gave him a horrified look. Naruto saw what she was looking at and waved his hands.

“Don’t worried it’s not my blood. My opponent was a bit uncooperative.” Naruto explained

“You tried the thousand cut method, didn’t you Naruto-kun?” Hinata asked. Naruto just rubbed the back of his head and grinned. Hinata giggled but shook her head at her friend’s antics. She watched as he turned a bit serious.

“So, how are you doing?” he asked

“I’m h-healing well. The d-doctor said I can l-leave soon. Neji-nisan didn’t hit any of m-my organs.” She explained

“That guy, I’m so going to mess him up in the first fight.”

“Y-You have N-Neji?”

“Hey, don’t sweat it. As soon as I find my ‘sensei’, I’m going to rip Neji into tiny little pieces.” Naruto said confidently. Hinata looked at Naruto and sighed sadly. Even though Neji had gone too far, he was still family. She knew that Naruto was very skilled and that he would probably would kill Neji or they would end up killing each other. She didn’t want that. Naruto noticed her sad expression. “Hey, is there something wrong?” Hinata looked at him.

“I-I want you to p-promise me that you will not k-kill Neji.” She asked

“What, but why? He doesn’t deserve your kindness especially after what happened.” Naruto shouted

“You don’t understand!” she shouted back. “Despite any thing and every thing that he has done, he is still a member of my family. Just think about it for a second. Image if our positions were changed, would you want me to kill your family member?” Naruto grumbled and had a pout on his face. He looked at Hinata and frowned at her. She was right and he knew it.

“Fine, I won’t kill him for you but I reserve the right to cripple him.” Naruto said unhappily. Hinata lit up and gave him a big hug. Unfortunately, Naruto wasn’t ready and he ended up on the ground with Hinata on top of him. Hinata sat on top of him, shouting out apologizes.

“What are you two doing?” said a voice. The two looked at the door and saw Kurenai, Anko, Kiba, Shino, Shikamaru, Chouji and Hinata’s father and sister. Anko just smirked and gave him thumbs up.

“Nice work otouto and the Hyuuga heiress no less.” She joked. He was confused until he noticed the position that they were in. Now, Anko had given him the talk two weeks into his ninja career and when Anko explained something, she explained it thoroughly. So for two days, Naruto was strapped to a chair while she explained and showed him through video tape the wonders of sexual intercourse. Naruto couldn’t look at a girl for a week after that. So he knew what position that they were currently in and by Hinata’s red face she knew too. She was off him in a flash and the two were several feet apart with huge blushes on their faces. Naruto looked and saw Kiba’s, Kurenai’s and Shino’s, if you could see through his glasses, glares. Shikamaru just smirked smugly with Anko but the worst was the look on Hinata’s father’s face. If looks could kill.

“W-Wait, it’s not what it looks like.” Naruto stammered

“I-It’s a b-big m-misunderstanding.” Hinata stuttered.

“I understand perfectly.” Shikamaru joked which was cut off by Hiashi. He turned back to Naruto.

“You leave, now!” he said. Naruto was gone n a flash. Anko chuckled and left as well along with Shikamaru and Chouji who muttered a quick get well. Hiashi turned back to his oldest daughter with a questioning glance. She just blushed while he sighed. He really didn’t feel like killing someone but he was a father.

Kakashi found Naruto in Sakura’s room. The girl had just woken up but she was bed ridden for the next week due to chakra exhaustion. Naruto was explaining his victory over the sound ninja and Sakura just shook her head at him.

“It’s no wonder that people think you’re crazy. I don’t why Hinata had a thing for you.” Sakura said

“For the hundredth time, she doesn’t see me like that. Besides, I wouldn’t be talking about me when you have caught the attention of fuzzy brows.” Naruto commented

“His name is Lee.”

“Oh, so we at first names now. I can see it now, little pinky fuzzy brows running around.”

“You are so lucky that I can’t hurt you right now.” Kakashi coughed to get their attention.

“Well, I glad that you’re in high spirits Sakura.” He said

“Thank you sensei, is Sasuke-kun with you?”

“Sorry but he’s going home and pack for our training trip. He did ask if you’re all right.” Kakashi said

“Geez, you could at least tell us the truth. You are going to be leaving us to fend for ourselves again.” Muttered Naruto

“Now, I found you a great replacement to help you against Neji.” Kakashi moved aside to allow someone to enter the room. Naruto looked at the man before sighing. He stood up and faced Sakura.

“Look when you start feeling better, seek me out and we’ll come up with some more techniques for you. I’ll see you later.” He said. He pushed himself pass the two and walked down the hall. He didn’t get five feet before Kakashi ordered him to stop. Naruto turned to the man who was giving him a disappointed gaze.

“That was quite rude.” He said

“I’m sorry you feel that way but I could give a shit.” Naruto replied

“How do you expect to beat Neji then? Anko will be tied up with Orochimaru being here so I thought I’d help by calling in a favor.” Kakashi explained

“Oh, so now you want to help me? Well, let me get on my knees and thank Kami for getting a teacher such as you. Should I pucker up too?” Kakashi glared at his student but Naruto ignored him. “Fine, I train with him. Who knows, he may be a better teacher than you.” Naruto said and walked pass him. “Hey Ebisu, you closet perv, let’s get going.” Kakashi watched as Naruto left with Ebisu, the two arguing all the way. He sighed and wondered what he was going to do about him. He didn’t like the disrespect that he was giving him and it just got worst. He knew that Naruto was a bit upset that he was devoting his time in training Sasuke but it was not reason to insult him or dismissed him like he was a nobody. He needed to talk to the Hokage about it.

Naruto cursed for about the tenth time today. His skin was probably blistered all over. Luckily he had some of Hinata’s ointment in his coat but he was still pissed off. As soon as they left the hospital, Ebisu explained to him what they would be doing. It was another type of chakra control exercise called water walking. It sounded interesting so he gave it a shot. The exercise proved to be harder that tree walking. To do this exercise you had to focus you chakra all around instead of a single spot. What was worst was that Ebisu brought him to the hot springs for training. He swore that he would get his revenge on the man since it looked like he was enjoying his torment.

He stepped on the water again and began to sink but his was beginning to get it. Only his feet were submerged. He attempted to pull his feet out but was districted when he saw a white haired man peeking into the women’s side of the springs. He lost his concentration and fell in.

“Son of a bitch! That stupid Ebisu, bringing me to these damn springs.” He quickly got out of the water and looked around to dish out some pain on the man. What he saw was Ebisu laid out and the same white haired pervert on a huge bull frog. Naruto looked at the man and had only one question in his mind. “Who in Kami’s name are you?” The man smiled and went into a silly little dance.

“I am the holy sage of Myouboku Mountain, feared around the world and all around ladies man. I am the great Jiraiya!!” he cheered as the toad blew out fire from its mouth. Naruto blinked at the man owlishly.

Authors’ Notes: How it going? Here’s the new chapter, hope it’s not too short. I didn’t wish to draw out the fight between Naruto and Zaku because I always felt that Zaku was a punk who could get beaten real easy. Tell me what you think.
